Join the band

From January 2025, we are a second section North West region band. We welcome players of any age, from all walks of life, provided their standard of play is within the required range for the position they wish to fill.

We rehearse from 8pm to 10pm on Tuesdays and Thursday in our bandroom at 76 Station Road, Marple, SK6 6NY.

Each year, we usually do about

• 12 concerts, including a couple of Bierkellers
• 3 major contests plus Whit Friday and a march and hymn contest
• miscellaneous other things like Remembrance Day service and carol playing

We currently have a vacancy for a Bb Bass player.
