Blackburn and Darwen March Contest 2024

Another wet day in Blackburn! Sunday 9th June saw the band return to Darwen town centre to play at Blackburn and Darwen bands annual March Contest. We opened the second half of the contest playing “Mephistopheles” and “The day Thou Gavest”. We were unable to retain our best 3rd Section title from last year but had an enjoyable day out catching up with friends and spending time together as band. Congratulations to Mossley Band who were the winners on the day.
